Default Selvedge Quilt

I cut off the selvedge as I use the fabric but I use lots of scrap fabrics so I rely on friends and lovely quilters to keep their selvedges and send them to me or I buy them online. I do try and keep the plain selvedges and word selvedges separated but it doesn't always happen. I have them in bags which I can grab and take to our fishing cabin so I can sew on the verdandah.

I just love the things you do with selvages Lynnie, I tried saving mine and then everything gets cluttered and in the bin they go. If I think about it I cut the selvages off before I make any cuts but sometimes I forget.
