Congrats, Karamarie! Can we see your 'winners'? Did you take pics?

Had to look up the Spice Rack quilt since illinois mentioned it... It looks very much like the famous "Walkabout" quilt pattern.

I put the straight stitch plate and foot on the embroidery machine and got the binding on the small quilt finished. It worked well enough I'm OK with working on more. If it had not, I'd have pulled out the old machine I used before I got the Juki.

So now back to binding. I think I have four more to finish up and then I'll have all the ones I want to take to the reunion ready. I do have a king size with a matching runner that needs binding, but they are for my own bed so there is no hurry on those.

Finally bound a quilt I've had hanging around forever. I don't know why I put off binding. I just don't care for it but when I actually do it, it doesn't take that long. Don't look too close at the quilting. This was the first time I tried a quilt on a long arm and it is not pretty!

Also put a sleeve on my dog collage and am attempting to decide on the fabric placement for a PP quilt.

I think it is pretty! So there. Cheery little petals and swirls go well with the design. I do all my bindings by machine and it doesn't take much time at all.

I like that Watson and I agree with Sewbiz those petals and swirls are a great accent for the pattern and those polka dots!

such great projects - all of them! They get me motivated.... I am hoping to finish up my Seven Sisters quilt this weekend. All I have left are sewing on the half triangle ends then sewing the rows together! I am getting there. The biggest decision is going to be the border... I have a few ideas I just have to make a decision on how much more work I want to do

Watson, your quilt is sooo cute! I love the bright, cheerful colors and all the polka dots! And I love the quilting also. It looks like it was done that way on purpose to show a playfulness. Great job.

I got off to a lazy start today, but am quilting a kid's quilt at the moment. Today is our 45th anniversary so we are going out to dinner tonight!
Love the Seven Sisters Teresa! That is not an easy one and yours looks great!
