Just keep cleaning and oiling this lovely machine. Most of these older ones are almost indestructable.
Terrific Find.

Great machine - worthy of a good servicing by a tech who knows these vintage machines. I love mine and would really suggest a professional service. Also an ebay hunt for its own feet! I have never been able to use any other feet on my Pfaff. Luckily I have its own feet. Sometimes people will tell you you can buy this or that foot and it will fit, but mostly it will not. The right bobbins are available still - Brubaker's online is where i bought lots of them awhile back. Good luck and what a lovely machine!!!!

Servicing by a tech - who knows this vintage - is my thought too. But my OSG retired a couple of years ago and the other vintage guy is IMHO not particularly good. Maybe the Singers but not any other brand.

I have 4 Pfaff 1222 (e & SE) so I have lots of attachments. Only use the regular zig zag foot and a 1/4" foot usually. And the darning/quilting foot.
