Watson, your quilt is beautiful!
This weekend I am working on hexagon table toppers that I may use for hostess gifts at Christmas. Or maybe gifts throughout the year.

Good day everyone. I'm in again. My 4 day plan on quilting.
(1) Put 2 round of borders on my 9-patch quilt top. Finally. Then on Monday take it to my quilter to get quilted. (2) Make a BOM block (A new project).
(3) Make 35 BHM 2017 blocks
(4) redo 16 blocks of BHMQ 16.
(5) Cut out my new project Nebraska quilt.
(6) Get caught up on Judy's mystery train ride #20.
(7) Enjoy the process.
Expect pics along the way. Happy sewing everyone.

I'm in for this one. I'll be working on FMQ on my little wall hanging and my big string quilt. I'm hoping to get both of them done. I'll be doing the wall hanging first as I know I can get it done and then start working on the string quilt. It's so bold and bright that I'm planning to just do some simple loop-de-loops for the FMQ so it should go pretty fast. It will be the first big quilt that I"ve FMQ'd on the Juki so it will be interesting to see how it goes.

Happy Thanksgiving to our Canadian friends! Cheesehead, love the fabric on your table toppers. They make great gifts.
I got four of the nine blocks done for the feathered star. I will try to upload a picture later if I can. The picture is on my I-hone so we'll see how successful I am!
There are some ambitious projects planned for the weekend; good luck to all

I'm home after a long day helping to set up our quilt show... there was a delay getting started due to some of the rooms being in use for morning activities ( at a senior center) but once we got in, the setup went well. Until one big section fell - domino style!!! A couple of minor injuries, all quilts survived and the first night reception went well.
I entered 4 things to be judged and got a 2nd place ribbon on one of my Bonnie Hunter quilts. But I was shocked and pleased to see a special award on another quilt of mine - a NACQJ Award of Merit rosette - for "outstanding achievement in quiltmaking"! I feel so honored! I will try to get a picture of the quilt tomorrow, don't even have a picture of the finished quilt at this time.

I'm in! Not sure how much I'll get done since son #2 is home from school for Thanksgiving, and family dinner is planned for Sunday. But I should get able to carve out some time - not sure yet what's on the list, other than working on the mystery I'm writing for one of my guilds (no photo sharing, sorry, it's still a mystery). But maybe I'll get my Summer Sampler put together, and my Escher wall quilt finished.

I am delighted to join y'all. I have been slacking off lately, so this is a great way to get myself back in the quilting spirit. I have a bunch of baby quilts that are in need of bindings. Plus, I plan to put together a couple of tops. No other plans for the weekend, so I should accomplish much.
