Ditto on the 8" blocks. That's such a cute quilt!

Since the blocks are basically 9 patch, what size of a quilt are you planning? Remember to figure 2 patch for each domino. And what size are you most comfortable with for a 9 patch? a finished 9" or a finished 6" (easiest sizes to compute). The picture looks like at least 12 blocks by 9 blocks which would make a very large top if you use 9" blocks. (I am figuring a half size for the border and 1" sashings.) With 6" blocks, you are still looking at a roughly 70" x 90" top. Please keep us updated on what you decide to do - looks like a fun project.

I don’t think $6.00 is too much to pay for the pattern. Just saying.....

My DH loves to play the game "Train" which is a game with dominos, so I went and bought the magazine and e bought some embroidery patterns to use for the dots on the dominos. Thank you for showing the magazine.

That is a darling quilt. After I saw the name of the quilt, I knew I'd remembered seeing that quilt somewhere before. lol
It is going to make into an adorable quilt.

Used to play that game with my kids all the time. Now for the life of me, I can't remember how to play. I will have to look it up online.

Yeah, but for some of us it is just silly to buy a pattern of any price when the design is so simple that we don’t need it.

Just for clarity, that is 6.00 for the magazine which has several patterns in it. I bought that one a few weeks ago. I will be making more than one from that magazine.
