All of the quilts are so pretty and especially love the Civil War fabric quilt JW3280. Civil war fabrics are one of my favorites.

This is basically a controlled scrappy as I used 80 different greens in my stash and a neutral background fabric. I'm on a "No Fabric" for a year so using what I have on hand only. I cut a 6.0 x WOF from each fabric for this quilt. The leftovers from this quilt are went into another all green quilt........triple irish chain which is now waiting to be quilted. Both quilts are over 100 x 100 too. I wanted something special for the quilting so did all custom quilting. Found I had turned one of the snail trail blocks incorrectly so had to remove it while it was on the frame, turn it and hand sew it back in place. What a job, hope to never have to do that again.

Made a scrappy quilt pattern called Millinium Stars by Pat Speth using scraps of batiks and Iowa ShopHop fabrics in white as background and black for the border and within the block. Found it too long for the bed at the quilt retreat so gave it to our local thrift shop for their quilt auction. Am now making another scrappy quilt using more batik scraps, Iowa ShopHop white for background to replace the other one. Hopefully it will fit the beds better.

I agree with you-jw3280 about the Eleanor Burns flying geese rulers. They are great and my fg come out perfect all the time. Snooze 2978-love your quilt-that is a lot of green fabrics and you put them to beautiful patterns. Also love your bright stars quilt is gorgeous. Thanks for sharing your work

Wow Snooze2978, that is a great quilt. Beautiful points!! I also love your green cats quilt. I made one copy of that block as a table topper for my daughter and granddaughter and they loved it. I have another cats quilt all designed out but it has to wait for my kids' quilts to be finished. I am making 12 quilts to go with our KEYS group to local cancer units for children. KEYS is a group of local musicians who visit the units to entertain the kids.

Watson, I love your bright and cheerful tumbler quilt...I have had the ruler in my shopping cart on a couple of occasions but have not yet purchased one.

Snooze, great controlled scrappy quilts. You must have a healthy stash to have come up with all of those greens. My favorite is the Millenium stars. Great work.

Jmoore, yes I'm afraid I do have a healthy stash. Have placed myself on a "No Fabric" for a year. Its been 6 months now and I've kept to my word so far. Went to a fabric shop yesterday with a friend and only both 2 books, no fabrics. Wasn't even tempted either. Trying to go thru my scraps or smaller yardage as I still have 60+ partial bolts sitting on the floor waiting for their turn to be up on a shelf. Next 2 projects are all from pre-cuts and/or scraps from other projects. Yes, really enjoyed working on the Millenium Stars from Path Speth book. Have made 3 of her patterns this past year so far.

Love your quilts, Suz! Love the mitered corners, too. I have 2" wide scraps of the Iowa fabric...mostly white bg...that I'm saving for a project...not sure yet. I also have yardage of a couple of other years of white/gray fabrics that I can use it with...oh another QIMM...quilt in my mind.
