Default Thank you Braid

Hi Quilters, I have another quilt to show you that I just got back from one of our QOV quilters. I think she did a superb job, even if it was programmed. I had a little trouble with piecing this top when I sewed the navy outer border on, but with help from a ripper, I re-sewed it on After I stay stitched the outer braid. All was well in the end and we will present it the 21st along with others.
This braid was made with the small half hexie ruler from MSQC. Our leader loves how this came out and personally, I do too. For you to compare, how the same panel can look so different, I have added a photo I showed you before, the Thank You panel with Stars. I started with each panel within the narrow navy border and they just evolved from there-lol

It does humble me to see the efforts that go into these quilts for our service men and women. I for one appreciate all the work you put forward to help these special people. Beautiful quilts.
