Your blocks are beautiful. I believe the answer to sewing curves is to sew slowly. Looks like you have it down pretty good!

Beautiful blocks! I’m eager to see the whole top when you finish.

Thankyou Rhonda K for the links...most appreciated. Thankyou everyone for your kind posts and encouragement. The sunglasses are going back on again today for another sewing session! LOL!

You've done a great job so far!

I belong to a PPing club and have done some of Judy Niemeyer patterns. Our group leader recommends glue basting the curves and I've also stitched one half of the arc then flipped the block to do the other half.

I think I'm going to put that book on my Christmas wish list...it looks great!

Row number one completed..well, not sewn together..but all the blocks done. Next row will be a different configuration of the geese and blades with a different set of colours, focus fabric and background but still following the same bright floral theme. I'm really enjoying this process and pleased to see that I am improving with my curved piecing.

This is beautiful! I have to say that I'm a fan of bright, so this really speaks to me. Way beyond my skill level at this time, but just gorgeous.
