Also at auction is a 66 in a case. Would a 15-91 fit in that case?

I guess so... My 201 came in a the same case my 15B came in, it now fits in a Singer cabinet where an early 15k was... Singer made their machine bed sizes standard as far as I could observe. Of course, 3/4 sizes 28, 128, 99, 185 etc are a different matter.

I worried about the potted motor being too wide for the curve. I took a lid to check the clearance. Curve was OK, but it was too short. What??????? ooops dodnor machine was a 99. Goofy me.

Thanks, Matt. Turns out it was a 99, not a 66. Thank you, Leon for that. I would not have taken a tape measure had you not mentioned your 99. It was a really pretty machine, though.

I have two coffin cases and both contain a 15-91. One case is in better shape than the other. Also, one is knee operated and the other has a foot control. Purchased years ago for $17.50 each at an auction. Both are really heavy.
