It wouldn't bother me at all but, if it bothers you, you should fix it. I sometimes intentionally put two of the same together so that when it happens. It's no big deal. I usually never notice mistakes till after they are quilted. Que sera sera.

If I were you I would fix it.. not for anyone but yourself because no one else would notice. It won’t take that long and you will always be happy you did it. The quilt is awesome!

I think since you asked the question you already know the answer - which is you are not happy with it so will fix it! It’s pretty. Show us the finished product!!

Being a Mom of 3 boys I can tell you almost for certain he won't notice it lol
But if it bothers you I would fix it.

I personally would fix it because it is not pleasing my eye. It looks ok and DGS will most likely not notice it as a mistake and love it because you made it for him. In the end it is always up to you.
