Default FW Table Addition

Just took possession of what i believe to be an early FW table. Needs a little bit of tlc but not much. Thought i'd throw the machine to see how it looks. Happy days

If anyone has any extra info on the early tables, would be greatly appreciated.

Are there any Simanco numbers on the hardware or bottom of the top? The slides look longer than the original hardware. I think they all had smooth side trim and a finger notch so one could lift the bed to change bobbins. Also the original ones that I have seen have cross pieces to set the machine on, but not a solid piece. According to https://singer-featherweight.com/blo...s-and-cabinets there were two versions. According to http://ismacs.net/singer_sewing_mach...nd_tables.html there were three versions, but doesn't show pictures of all of them.

That is a nice looking table and nice that the FW fits. I'm thinking that it might not be an original Singer card table, but it is a very well done one.

After doing a bit of research since i have to agree with ya. As a retried carpenter i will agree that this is well made. Fits the FW perfectly thankfully and now the daughter has someplace dedicated for the FW to be used. Looks good with machine

Not as chuffed as my kid, she loves that the table can also be use for crafts. The FW is just happy to have a loving home. Still looking for other tables, etc...it never ends my wife says
