.....Manage to work quilting into every conversation. (I am working on not doing this unless others ask about my passion). I see potential quilt patterns everywhere. Yes, I too snap photos of floors as many of you have stated. Even got in trouble in Williamsburg for taking a photo of a beautiful inlaid wooden floor. (It was in a no photo area and I thought I was being clever.) But what a quilt it would make!

When I go to a store and the clerk says "are you a sewer?" Obviously I was covered with threads on my blouse -or- when I walk into a place of business and look at the tile floor and think---I could make that pattern into a quilt.
