[QUOTE=Watson;8428976]Elfi2...is this all the same pattern?

I'm looking for an easy, but nice pattern to make with my Mom for her to give to people for Christmas.
If you have any ideas for one that goes together easily, and is a free pattern, I'd appreciate it.

Watson
Hi Watson !!! I’ve been gleaning bits and pieces from several different patterns to see what works best for me and I use the same one for all my bags, just make them different sizes, to suit the scraps of fabric I’ve got at hand 😉
I would say this is an easy enough way and well explained http://www.thesewingchick.com/2015/0...ouch-tutorial/
I make the lining a little differently but it’s a bit more complicated. Also i make the zipper differently and find it the best way to make it look neat. I find if i cut the zipper even a little shorter so as to leave a longer tab, it doesn’t make the corner look so bulky when you turn it around. This is a tutorial for it https://youtu.be/XDXNP_HkK28
All the best and looking forward to seeing your pouches ❤️❤️❤️
P.S. if you want to search on Pinterest you might find some more ideas !!!

Love all of your pouches! Gee, what a great gift. I am thinking they would make great gift bags for little bulky items too. I say that because I had to make a bunch of bags for silver bracelets I ordered from india for my sister in laws for christmas. They are out of patterned velvet I had on hand and a button closure. Kind of like a rectangle shaped envelope. I wish now I had seen your zipper bags before I made those.

Just curious, where did you find the little tassels?

Tassels are from EBay and also all the other zipper charms 😉

All of your pouches are so pretty and love how each one is so different with different embellishments.
