I was going to to post a flag quilt I made a few years ago but was unsuccessful. The directions for posting a picture in a group reads like you need an engineering degree to make this happen. I have been a member of this Board for years and have never posted a picture. If someone wants to take the time to PM me step-by-step instructions on how to post a picture, I would be forever grateful. Thank you.

Rvsfan, the process for posting pictures depends a lot on your equipment -- plus a couple other things. It took me months to figure out what was needed with the old format between the combination of my old school digital camera, desktop computer, plus browser choice. Then I had to make some changes when the board changed format. I have never myself been able to use the paper clip icon or embed the images within the text, just as the thumbnails.
We have some pretty good help stuff, step by step in the Help Section:
https://www.quiltingboard.com/vbulle...lp-center-f27/
For many of us, the problem is that our images have too large a file size. I use this site to reduce my images because it is quick and easy and does not set off my browser protections/warnings:
https://www.reduceimages.com/
I use their defaults, drag my image to their site, click once to reduce and once to download.
If you are using a cellphone you probably already have options to change the size/format. That depends on your device. The help section should be able to help.
The other big problems is (1) a very short time window, I often time out between logging in and making my reply but before my post goes through. I've learned to copy the post first. That happened with this post, looked like I was still logged in but my permissions had expired...
And (2) the upload button -- once you get your files attached you have to stretch out that window to the far upper right to get the upload button. When the board changed formats they never fixed their pre-sized windows. I still forget about half the time to hit that upload button...

I found a panel that had the Pledge of Allegiance on it, created a quilt around it.
the second one I cannot remember the name of right off hand
and the two blocks are the string blocks I’m working on for a new one.
