Terrific blocks Klaws and Terriamn!

NZQ, It's tough to get a cold but a stomach bug is really unpleasant. Rest up and get well soon. Blocks aren't due until May 5.

Feeling a bit better each day, so I have three more blocks finished! "Album Variation" for Macybaby and Marcialee, and "Waking in Circles" for Petthefabric. Hope you like them!

Glad you are getting your strength back, NZQ!

I love the Album Variations, and your third block is kinda mind blowing! Lots of curved piecing too... you go girl!

Here are 2 blocks that I have finished. The first is for Terriamn and the second is a Double T block for Hav4boys. The Double T was double trouble for me. I've made that block several times and never had a problem. This time, I spent a lot of time with "Jack" ripping out several times. I have one more to make for Hav4boys and will try to make a simpler one. With my macular degeneration I have a really hard time seeing when using black fabric. I have an eye doctor appointment in a couple of weeks. I know there really isn't anything that can help my MacD. I also have cataracts starting but I don't think they are bad enough for surgery yet. I hope they are. Maybe that will help my vision. Anyway, I hope you like the blocks I made for you.

Klaws, great blocks! I’m sorry to hear about your eye problems. It must be worrisome. I hate to wish for worsening cataracts but maybe that’ll be the case and you can get some improvement in your vision. Hugs.

Klaws thank you so much for my great block. My mom had macular degeneration also and she had some days that were particularly hard to see. Thankfully most of the time she was ok. Hope that is the case for you

Two more blocks first is for Libster, sorry Libby I had folded up your block and placed it in bag. Later I remembered to take it out and take a photo so it looks pretty wrinkled. Second block is for NZ, hope you both like your blocks

Love my block, Terri. I like that you used the lighter shade from some of the leaves.

Thanks! I'm getting over my fear of curved piecing.

Terriamn, thank you for the lovely pinwheel block!

My hubby surprised me with Quiltmaker's 1,000 Blocks book for my birthday yesterday! I had it sitting in our Amazon wishlist for ages and he went ahead and bought it. It's a treasure trove of ideas! I'll need to join in the next few Booms to play with all the blocks!
