Oh my word - all of you are super busy which is wonderful. It wasn't too long ago and we couldn't go anywhere or see anyone and now we can!! And now even fly without a mask!!
I love family pictures - always always take them. We used to complain when our aunt would start shooting her camera and telling us to smile etc etc. But now we all fight over getting those photos.
NZ did you make your dress too? I love it - and all fit so perfectly. I recall my mother making mine and even my spring coats - and then matching ones for my Barbi - can we say tiny stitches!

No good flowers here - just as all the lilac trees started to bloom we had a freeze. So many trees hit. brought a few in but they didn't hold up. But I loved the smell anyway. Temps are in 70s for the week - and it is officially forest fire season - Lot of smoke over the mountains but we should be safe. Still it will be a hard battle with the low humidity and windy conditions.

Love seeing all the blocks - miss it when I finish early. I did get my Azalea quilt to long arm but forgot to take photo. I put all the fabric for the Begonia in my plastic zip locks ready to travel down the road with. I am working on cutting and matching fabric in my stash to patterns to put in kits to take on our journey. Oh how I will miss my stash!!

    Keep posting those photos

Oh my goodness, that is one of the coolest blocks ever! Is there a pattern or do you just have a special ruler to use! I think I need to attempt some curves - have never done that!

Here's my block for today - only four to go- this is my second block for Terriamn. It began as a totally different pattern but I put a couple pieces together wrong and liked it better....

Love your "happy mistake" block, Jayne!

And MJP yours are wonderful too. I love the asymetrical dresden!

I'm so glad that some are still making blocks for us to see.

I think I've got my Juki problem narrowed down to timing of the feed dogs. I found a service manual online that I downloaded, and tomorrow I will tackle re-timing those dogs!

NZ what a unique block, I don’t think I have ever seen that pattern, love it

Jane I think your mistake turned out to be a super block. Thank you it is a great block

MJP a couple more traffic blocks

No flowers here yet, weather is still cold and rainy. Can’t complain about the rain, we desperately need it.

Thanks! It's from Moda's Blockhead 3, block 33 I believe, called Walking in Circles. I think it would be so cool as a scrappy quilt. I might try that one day.

Traveling Gramma, yes, I did make my Easter dress too, back in 2020, but of course we couldn't go anywhere that Easter. Then last year I was one and a half months postpartum for Easter and couldn't fit it! Now this year I at last got to wear it. I make most of my clothes, but they aren't fancy most of the time. Mainly just maxi dresses and casual knit clothes. Dress making used to stress me out, but I'm getting better at it. Quilting is definitely my comfort zone. I can't imagine making matching outfits in doll sizes too! My word, too tiny for me!

SBG, fingers crossed you can fix the juki problem!
