Thanks for the photos. I have never seen a picture of any of the Vets receiving them. So heartwarming! Your quilts are great and Thank you to all who have served!

The night before the last presentation was when I fell and broke my arm. I had a quilt ready to give and on the way to the hospital, amidst pain and crying, I thought of our veteran and his quilt. My husband assured me he would get it to the ceremony on time and he did. I do miss occasionally but when I know that any of my quilts are to be given I especially like to be there. Others sent me photos of that day so I could see when I felt better. I’m in therapy now so I’m almost ready to quilt again.

What a great cause. All of the quilts are beautiful, and the pic of the veterans wrapped in love and appreciation warms my heart. Well done!

Is the quilt with the soldier in the center a panel or an actual person? That’s awesome, I’m sorry you got hurt but your quilts were well received. Was there no female recipients there? Since my sister and daughter both served I always love when there are women involved in the ceremony.

No women this time but we have given to them before. Thank them from us for their service. If you’d like them to receive a quilt go to the website and make a nomination. Or maybe you would like to join a qroup in your area. That would be awesome!

The soldier is a panel. The panel is anything in the lighter blue camouflage. Notice I fussy cut the Navy emblem for my Star centers.
