Still have your Featherweight 100
Hello there! I was just gifted a feather weight 100 without the foot controller. I have looked around online to find one without any luck. I came across your post from about 12 years ago.
Just wondering if you like it and if it’s worth continuing the search. Or, if your machine is not working anymore, would you want to part with the foot controller?
Thank you, and all the best!

The white FW were made in Kilbowie, Scotland. Mostly for the British and Canadian markets as I remember. I think that the tan ones were made in Canada. You could check the Featherweight Shop on that.

If you're still in need of foot controller, another possible source is local sewing machine service shops. I know that I had to trash a Singer machine that had been donated to church (I think some one had dropped it and managed to actually break the arm and bend various smaller parts, well beyond even above average skill sets to remedy) but the controller was good and I donated it to my local OSMG, who was delighted and tucked it away in a special corner.
