Default Scrappy Log Cabin Quilt

I make lots of log cabin quilts, always using scraps. When I just need something relatively mindless to work on, this is my go-to quilt design. I try to vary the setting so they're not all the same. I just finished sewing the binding on this one today. Drake (who got a haircut this morning) wanted to have his picture taken too.

It's 90" square, all scraps, Warm & White batting, quilted on my Innova.

Wow! Love it! I often use scraps from my string basket for log cabin quilts, so they are a bit wonky but, as you say, easy, mindless projects. Good for snowy and rainy days!

Lovely to see some of your work. You certainly have made the lowly log cabin and stunning and creative work of art. Thank you for sharing your quilt with us.

That is a new-to-me layout and I love it. Such a peaceful setting for Drake.
