Whining…….. If you don’t like your life, you’re the only one with power to do something about it.

And by the way, you’re depressing.

Mine is the ones where they talk so fast that I have to rewind it to hear it again and again.
Maybe I need hearing aids?

I use the cc button -- closed captioning button on the video -- I'm glad they have it as I'm lost without it. Same with television.

It's when people leave a call back number - And they say it once so quickly that they make auctioneers and rappers seem that they are speaking s l o w l y.

My pet peeve is when I am on you tube looking for a technique and there is no discussion, just pointing and maybe posting a few measurements with some music. Maybe it's me, and the type of learner I am, but I just can't follow. I have no idea what they are pointing at or what they are doing.

My pet peeve is taking a class to learn something new and there is someone in the class that has to one-up the instructor. If their technique is so great, let them teach their own class, for now let me learn what this person I paid to teach me, teach.

One of my PP’s is Quilt Police, and specifically Quilt Label Police. It’s my quilt and I’ll choose to or to not label it. And I refuse to be guilted into it.
I was talking to my aunt today and said I had just finished three quilts binding and labels. She asked what a quilt label was and I told her I had to place them or the quilt police would come after me. Her response “Are there really quilt police?”

My pet peeve is fabric snobs....those who use ONLY, DEFINITELY and ABSOLUTELY 100% quilting cotton.
"Oh...you spend so much time on it...use only the best of everything to make it worth your time.."

They forget where and how and why quilts were made.

It seems people have taken the poor man's blanket and is now trying to make it into a rich man's prerogative.
The rich have always been able to afford the best....it is the poor who had to make do with bits and pieces to make something out of nothing.

And on the same note are those pin (only glass-head pins, you know)and machine snobs....

- - - and thread and tool snobs - - -

and those that throw away large scraps (rather than give them away) because "they can't be bothered with that clutter"
