Good evening, Holly. I was going through my blocks and found two without the maker’s name. One I discovered thanks to the photos but the other one had no name. Will the maker please reveal herself?

Also, I’m attaching a pic of all 19 blocks made by the group, in no particular order.

Thank you everyone!

Does my block look different than the picture? That’s because I went back and took out the dark green and replaced it with the medium green. The dark bugged me. Look at the picture and let me know if I wasted a lot of time doing this Janice. . Much harder to do this than I thought it would be.

Mine have arrived! As always they’re much more beautiful than the pictures. Thanks for the beautiful blocks. I think I’m going to use them on point as even though I didn’t request this they all look good that way!
I do have a conundrum, Three of the blocks have white in them instead of the requested cream and they look a bit odd with the other blocks. I also have a few blocks with cream and a little bit of white in the cream that fit in perfectly with the rest. I’d like to use all the blocks. Do you think If I did heavy FMQ with cream thread on the white parts that would make them fit in better?

Mjp, thank you for changing out the very dark fabric for the medium green. I like it much better. It’s always hard to go back and alter blocks but sometimes it just feels like the right thing! I don’t feel you wasted your time.

Janice, that block is from JayneW. I tried to catch the unnamed blocks and put names in many bags.

Thanks for posting your wall of blocks, Janice. It's like a preview of your quilt. Love it.

Thread painting shrinks the fabric and makes it heavy. I’d try very dark coffee applied with q-tip. Or ink-tense pencils. Apply aloe on the fabric around the white and let it dry. This keeps water from seeping onto the other fabric. When white is dry, wash out the aloe.

Oh I have some ink-tense pencils. Do you put aloe on the fabric first then the pencils? I’ll have to see if I have the right colors. That would be easy. Does it last?

Thanks for the preview, Ibex. The science quilt is a winner!

I still have a set of Boom blocks to put together from Boom 27, and then onto my two from Boom 18.

Have a great Sunday!
