Good idea on the test drive. Might even contact the machine supplier to determine which model she has.

For those interested, the 2024 Catalog and Application are now online. The machine rental is up to $125.

Congratulations ladies.

Decided, the preferred time to leave Florida is summer. So I’ll spend $ this summer to “get out of Dodge”.

Good idea heading out of Florida in the summer. I hope you find something fun and quilts to do! Thanks for starting this thread.

I’m torturing myself by looking at the website to see which classes have already sold out. I sent my application in, but not right at 8AM when registration opened. I’m thinking that even if the class I shows as “sold out” — which is not yet the case — I still won’t know if I was one of those who made it in! Patience is definitely not my strong suit.

I signed up for session 3 right at 8AM and a few days later got a reply to my email with one word - Received. One of the classes in that session is now closed, but it was my second choice. The fact that one class is closed seems to indicate that they are processing registration requests, so I *think* that I'll get my first choice. But it is hard to wait.
