Have you watched YouTube videos by Juki Junkies? My go to when I have questions. Here is a link about FMQ and shows set up they recommend. Even though this is not on frame it's really good. Also check out videos on tension for bobbin. Hope you find the answer as the TL on the Cutie is an awesome combination.

Also you might try contacting Grace Company to see if there are any suggestions they have. They also have great YouTube videos; Tuesdays with Grace just completed a 4-5 week series all about tension.

Don't give up.

Thanks Three Dog. I won't give up and yes, I've watched both JukiJunkies and Tuesdays with Grace videos. Thanks again for all your advise. I'll keep everyone posted.

Try using a Schmetz Stepp-Nadel Quilting Needle in size 90/14. Happy Quilting. Hugs Kathryn

Good morning everyone
i have figured out my issue. i changed my foot from a ruler foot to a regular open toe, and put my tension setting to where i usually have them. I also put my stitch length back to 2.5 and have almost finished quilting my first quilt. I want to thank you all for your assistance, this group is great.
