Thank you so much for sharing! If this is where you are starting as a quilter, I can hardly wait to see what comes next.
It's nice when others can see what we see -- like the seascape quilt That not many "get" the skyline doesn't matter so long as you do, From a light/dark perspective I think it gives a tremendous graphic appeal that I can sense there is something there even if I can't can't quite grasp it myself, I can still appreciate it.

I used lots of youtube videos on sewing curves. After fabric selection which took ages and ages and watching videos and practicing sewing the curved the actual putting it together was much quicker than a "normal" quilt. The over sewing is stitch the ditch and then a few lines matching the same ditch to ensure I had the stitches close enough so the quilt won't fall apart.
I always baste the layers together with good spray glue (usually 505 spray but Helmar's 101 if I can't get it) to quilt them. I just can't use pins well enough.
These photos were taken as soon as the quilts are finished. Once they are washed they are puffier.

These are all wonderful! Don't be so critical of yourself, especially when you are just starting out. You've accomplished a lot. I think anyone would be proud to have made these quilts, and anyone would love to receive them.

Oh, my! I love the baby quilt and have no doubt that the baby will love it, too! The others are very artistic, and way past my pay grade! You have a great future with your quilting; can't wait to see your future quilts!
