All those wipes that say "flushable" now - have clogged many many drain lines.

I used the diaper liners, because with the liners, and the store brand diapers it was still cheaper than buying the name brand. I was extremely lucky with both my boys. they went from diapers to Spiderman/He Man/Sesame Street underwear by the time they were both two. We rarely had accidents either. Now my oldest's pacifier was a totally different challenge. When he was 3 he was going to 2 day pre-school, but pacifiers weren't allowed. He wanted to go because of the play area, and other kids, so he decided to save it in his drawer. Initially he'd go get it as soon as he got home. Eventually he needed it less and less. Fun memories!
