How many . . . ?

We all have WIPS . . . those things that are called "in progress" but in reality may be languishing in a closet or drawer. But how many quilts are you actively working on at the present time? I'm in the midst of a Tiny Houses baby quilt, plus working on Bonnie Hunter's County Clare. I have also pulled fabrics for her Old Town challenge. I've lately also been fascinated with the possibilities of various settings with the square-in-a-square block and so have some of those up on the design wall. I love them all! Anybody else multi-tasking like this?

Yes, I have about 5 different things going on all in various stages of completion. Everything from pulled fabric to waiting to be sandwiched tops. I never know what I want to work on next. So whatever it is, I have something to do.

I've been in a bit of a quilting slump. I've been knitting though. I love to knit in the evening.
I'm working on Cats in Pajamas quilt by Elizabeth Hartman. It's not hard but has a million pieces and I'm dragging my feet.
It's going to be so cute when finished.
Normally I have at least 2 or 3 going at once. I get bored with just one at a time.

I only work on one quilt at a time. I don't have a very large sewing room so I don't have a lot of space for WIP's and I think I would get too confused or mix up the blocks. I may occasionally set a quilt aside to do other projects like the teddy bears I made earlier this year.

I usually have only two projects that I'm actively working on - one that I'm piecing and one that I'm quilting on the longarm. Right now I have neither, since one quilt just came off the frame today and I'm busy with the binding. Sorry, but I don't have any hidden away in drawers or closets. That would drive me crazy.

I try not to have too many WIP's, but sometimes I just get too excited and have to start something new. I just finished binding a quilt today so I don't have to count that in my unfinished project count. So that brings me to 1 quilt sandwich that needs to be quilted, 1 quilt top that needs to be sandwiched and 1 quilt top that is still being cut out. When you count all my other interests, like cross stitching, crocheting, reading, puzzles, I could have about 6 more going, but thankfully, there's only 1 more project in process.
