Last but not least, NZquilter's patriotic block. Using fussy cuts changed up the look of the block a lot. I don't remember what the name of the pattern is but I wrote it on the slip of paper with the block.

Thank you for the fun everyone! I am working on my Patriotic blocks from many Booms ago to get them sashed up and quilted now that you all have me addicted to sewing time again.

Rebaquilts -- did you ever quilt up your "Folks in Space" quilt? (Boom 28). I loved the fabric you chose that Boom, too.

Ibex, love all your blocks, I am a fan of the Churndash block! Both of my blocks are lovely, love the yellow with my florals and the blue churndash. Thank you

These are Mexican ducks, we counted 30 on the front roof of this place. Very unusal.

Terriamn, I love churn dashes. Janice is the one who first told me about them. They make beautiful blocks. The Big Bang churn dash looks much better in person than my picture shows.

I did! It turned out great. I’m not home right now or I’d snap one with the binding on, as it is completely done. I pulled the colors from the blocks to make corner stars :-) I love this one! Hugs!

We had some cool "Hippie" quilts!

LOVE the Space girl quilt, Reba!

Good morning, Squirrels! Another package came in. Thanks All2pieces. It’s PT and Ernie Veterinarian day. And we’ve had a “development” concerning Ernie. Seems his “new” chip is registered to someone in NC!!! So, either there’s been a mixup in the chip numbers, or Ernie may belong to someone else who might be looking for him. We’re going to have the vet confirm his chip number today, and in the meantime, the chip company is trying to contact the registered owner of the chip. To say I was stunned by this development would be an understatement. We’re also calling the Humane Society to ask what the heck is going on. We were told his chip was new. Although we own him legally, if someone has been looking for him this whole time…well…that throws a monkey wrench in the situation. We’ll get more clarity today I hope.

Ibex, don’t forget to post pix of your finished patriotic quilt!

Yes, please post a pic of the finished quilt. We’d love to see it.

Have a good day everyone. Hope we get some answers today about Ernie, not unhappy answers.

Reba -- that is a great quilt! I love how you used stars in the sashing! What a great quilt!

Janice, the chip issue for Ernie is crazy! I hope it all works out in your favor. Hopefully, the name on the chip ID actually adopted a different animal and the person adding the info onto the chips mixedup the order.

The only good news about PT is that it is getting blood to circulate around the injury so if there is a chance to self-heal without surgery, that will speed up the process. Are you getting all buff with the PT?

If I manage to finish my patriotic quilt, I will post pictures. :-) Thanks for the encouragement.

As most of you know my oldest daughter is a runner and on Friday she noticed a truck and on Saturday it was still in the same spot. Something triggered in Kelly’s mind and she approached the truck. A young man had violently killed himself. She is handling it pretty well or she is still in shock. Can’t even imagine such a scenario.

Reba love your space quilt and the extra stars you added.

Janice sure hope it’s just a mix up on the chip

Today is the big day at the Park. The all day party to raise money for the local food shelf. There will be bands playing outside from noon to 5:30 then inside the hall from 6 to 9. Unfortunately it’s going to be sizzling hot hope that doesn’t keep the crowds away. We are volunteering in the kitchen from 5 to 7. Sure hope it is a successful event
