Seat cushions: have a variety!! Some for my back, some for my tush. Car seats just don’t provide enough over the years. The one in motorhome I need extra on my back for my knees to be in proper position.

I am pushing in getting my flimsy tops sandwiched. And straight line quilted. I can’t believe I have done many. And now another set coming in. Oh my it will be a busy December. But no company or family to deal with so this will keep me busy and my mind occupied.

Turkey thawed and just may cook it on Wednesday for the two of us!

I’m enjoying all the chatter here, thanks JanicMcC for all the hard work! Up at 4:30 because the jet lag is slowly going away, but took advantage and went to the local grocery superstore that’s open 24 hours to get all the thanksgiving shopping done in the quiet. Boy it was quick and nice. I’ll be working on a ByAnnie pattern over the Thanksgiving holiday for 2 presents, cleaning house and getting the tree up and decorated. And finishing up a BOM from Laundry Basket that is about 75% done. Annaquilts, hats off to you with 14 kids. That means lots of grandkids to keep you busy for sure. Very impressive. Hugs all and Happy Turkey day!

Sewbiz will check out your tush cushion.

For cookies I make a coconut and chocolate chip macaroon, the grsndkids favorite is Hershey Kiss, always have to have chocolate chip, Russian tea cakes, frosted sugar cookies, the corn flake wreaths, a big batch of peanut butter ones for granddaughters husband and brother, snickerdoidles, chowmein noodles with chocolate and butterscotch chips and frosting filled thumbprints. Think that’s it. I wish the cornflake wreaths weren’t such a hit they are so messy to work wit.

Janice I am up to 3/4 mile walking, still finish huffing and puffing but it is getting a little easier

Going to be a hot one today 91.

Terriamn, that is a wonderful list of cookies! Wednesday is going to be my cookie day with the grands coming over and I need something to do with each so each will make their own cookie. I'll let you all know which they end up wanting to do. Tomorrow is my ingredient buying day after I return to MS.

Cheesehead, here is the twisting star that I did that I ultimately undid to make your hour glasses block. After I undid it I double checked the pattern and it was designed to have points on all sides that get nipped off because they are to merge into the other twisted stars that were part of the big quilt. Your fabric looks beautiful in this twisted star and if I had spare fabric I would make a tumbling star of some sort just to play with the colors again and end up with no nipped points.

I am spending my day with technology. Because I am no longer teaching at the university, my Microsoft account has changed and I am slowly, one by one moving word documents from some mysterious area to the "cloud' so I can access them as I need them. NO quilting or baking or lounging with a good book for today. What a waste of a magnificent Monday.

Oh well, when my package arrives, I can take a break and gaze on the beauties and dream of how to put them together for a finished quilt.

What a wonderful surprise, my blocks already arrived. I am gushing over all of them. Thank you, quilters, for helping me to kick start to this large quilt, I am making for one of my daughters. the blocks and work are stunning.

A special shout out to Janice for spear heading this swap and setting up the gallery. I hope to be able to participate again in the future.

I also really love everyone's posts and sharing what is going on in their life. I will need to go back to read over all the previous posts.

Hugs, Anna

I just checked the tracking on my package and it says, DELIVERED. I must dash out to the mailbox and check. (Insert picture of Kermit the Frog running about shaking his hands, shouting yeah!) I need something beautiful to gaze at tonight. Off I go like Kermit or is it the the Home Alone kid running through the house with the be be gun being chased by the bad guys?

Good afternoon. I’m baking cheesecakes today. Three of them. I’m about to mix up the filling on the second but I need a break!

Has anyone heard from All2pieces? I’ve got a couple of emails in to her but no response yet. Guess I’ll be calling soon. If you read this A2P, check your emails and reply please. I’ve not shipped your blocks because I need to hear from you!

DS has just arrived at the airport. DH is picking him up. They’ll be here in about 90 minutes. Woo hoo.

Break over.
