I always have other projects in the wings. The shop was open today and I bought a new even feed foot as he couldn't repair my current one. It was cheaper than I thought since the shop has 20% off all month. So I'm in quilting heaven again!

You all have fun quilting or whatever you are doing for the virtual weekend. I am just getting ready for our family Christmas gathering on Sunday. I have made 3 lap/nap quilts for gifts.
One is for my hubby who was on an aircraft carrier in the Navy many years ago and the fabric has pictures of the Navy ships; one is for my 12 year old Granddaughter as she has requested a nap quilt (also made a small pillow from leftover backing), and finally a nap/lap quilt for my Granddaughter's boyfriend. He was a hockey player in school and the top of the quilt is made from some hockey fabric. The backs of these 3 quilts are that nice soft blizzard fleece. Hope they like them. I'm the one who said about 3 months ago that I was not going to be making quilts much!!!!?

I started quilting the other side of the backing for the bunny gift for my little neighbor. I should have it made into something by tonight. It is either a pillow or a tote bag. ??? Sometimes you just have to move forward without knowing what it will be. LOL!
I have three baby quilt tops to quilt and bind after this. Somewhere in all the hustle I need to make some cookies and candy for hubby and wrap the last of the gifts. These days seem so overwhelming. Sheesh!

I'm considering Merry Mayhem's NYD mystery but hers is quite involved this year as well. I'll decide on the latter depending on how much I get done this weekend. Happy sewing everyone.
If you decide to do Merry Mayhem, we have a dedicated thread now.
