I was doing the Happy Dance here, my car had been in the repair shop for a week and I was able to pick it up. Swapped cars with hubby and headed to the airport in the cities to pick up DD. 3.5 hours later arrived back home. We use to live 15 minutes away from the same airport have to say I do miss that living out here in rural Minnesota.

Went through my stash and pulled a few pieces hopefully for the sashing of this booms blocks

Tomorrow is supposed to be our the first big snow storm but already on the news they are downgrading their predictions. Normally we can just snuggle in and ride out the weather but hubby is off visiting a college friend and will be driving home.

Hi all! I completed the ballerina quilt in time for Christmas gifting. I decided to make it reversible, here it is, all boom blocks were used and I made some extra to fill the gaps. Thanks everyone so much, my friend had tears in her eyes last night when she got it. Hugs!

Reba, your quilt is beautiful! Your friend is a lucky woman. I'll add it to the gallery. (I see my two blocks!)

Good early morning. Had to get up before 4 to take a friend to the airport. Good clear weather for driving. I made it there and back with no trouble. Now I’m wondering what to do. Maybe I’ll start quilting BH’s Shattered, but I haven’t decided how. Good time to figure it out.

Today I find out when my knee surgery will be scheduled and I’ll be able to adjust Boom 33 dates if needed.

Have a good day!

Busy morning Janice. I am still sitting with my laptop perched on my lap watching the snow falling. Everything looks like it is covered with a dusting of powdered sugar. Quiet and peaceful on the marsh. Time to rise and get ready for baking, lunch with friends and to make a final block for my Scrappiness is Happiness quilt. Woops, I need to wrap gifts for tomorrow's gathering with my brother and his kiddos and grandkiddos. Quilt may slip off the list for today. Oh, well there is always next week.

Reba love love your ballerina quilt, I can imagine how excited your friend was

All cookies are baked, just the corn flake wreaths and haystacks left to finish. Presents are wrapped, the stragglers will get wrapped as they arrive. Followed one package of my granddaughter’. It shows DHL delivered the package to the post office and they returned it to the sender. Grrrr, ordered another one immediately. Hoping it makes here by Christmas Eve.

Enjoying the bright sunshine and 5 or 6” of fresh snow. Easy to enjoy when I’m in the nice warm house.

When checking out the sewing room turns out I had set up my traveling machine before leaving. Decided to take advantage of the set up and going to make some last minute hot pads. My oldest grandson loves them and uses them to death.

Janice glad you will find out your surgery date today, then you will be in the know.

The Ballerina block was so much fun to work with - and everyone did such a great job! But put it all together and on the reverse - it is Amazing!! Hope you got a great photo of her opening and looking at it!

I got my off road done. I loved how it came together - and how unique all your blocks were. thank you one and all
