Yea, Heather, all presents are present and accounted for. Enjoy each one and now you can dream of how to put your new abundance of little squares to use in 2025.

Holy cow, I just realized that I posted my happy birthday to SusieQOH on the 2023 list, and then my thank you on that list!! UGH. Thank you everyone for the well wishes and wonderful candies! Yesterday was a complete whirl wind of activity. I was up late hand binding my friend's Christmas quilt, which was a ballerina boomerang swap, as she was cooking dinner for me for my birthday, and I wanted to kill 2 birds so to speak. Breakfast with my daughter then Christmas shopping then lunch with a friend, then to the office then down to my friends for dinner and the Christmas present exchange then home. I opened Candies at 10:30 last night and was so exhausted that I just went to bed. But it had been a very good day. Once again, it was so great to get the many envelopes from everyone. Thank you Thank you Thank you and I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and Holiday season! Hugs! And you might get this twice since I mistakenly posted it on the 2023 list first. Sigh. Tis the season. Double hugs!

So I was looking at all my envelopes and I found something very interesting. The last envelope that I got was from Have4boys and none of the stamps were cancelled. No where on the letter were any marks from any post office. At first I thought it was just me not noticing. I like looking at letters to see where and when they get stamped. This year the post office has been using a snow man that says Happy Holidays. Did anyone else have this happen??? On another note, I have a pattern all picked out for the my little squares. It is a pattern that I love making, is free online and seems to look so different depending on the background colors. I have posted a link for it before, but it is called Gramma's Lattice. I am hoping to start working on it over this holiday break. My 2025 plan is to, hopefully, make a cat quilt with all of those candies to mark a major birthday. Guess I should deal with 2024 before thinking about 2025. Best to everyone--H.

Here is the link: https://sewcanshe.com/grandmas-latti...-free-pattern/ and what nice pattern it is. I have bookmarked it for the future. Keep posting photos from time to time so we can see your progress.
