Two blocks for today, WMUTeach and SBG.
The colors look off to me in the photos, WMU's white looks bluish but it's a white on white. SBG, the dark color is purple but it looks like a royal blue in the photo.
Cheese.

MQ, no rush. You can take every last day of the swap to do your blocks. I usually take about 5 or 6 weeks but I was working up against a surgery deadline that has now evaporated. Take your time and enjoy the process and the other blocks being posted. Check the gallery for ideas and to see if something hasn’t been made yet that you want to make. We try not to duplicate but it happens anyway.

Went to get my test results explained today and there is nerve damage in my left elbow. So.... surgery will be next week on Thurs, a week from today. Some ligament will get snipped and that's that. The nerve should start to recover. He said I could try doing therapy, but if the condition is not resolved in about 3 weeks it can become permanent. I've had this condition for longer than that, so I don't have the time to try therapy. Just snip me, already!
Cheese, very pretty block for Mariposa and I LOVE my block. What a beautiful 4 crowns block. THank you, it will be a great addition to the quilt.
SusieQ, glad you like the block I made you. I love it when we get to make baby quilt blocks. And I would love to have a squirrel nest on one of my windows! You are so lucky. They love cooked sweet potato, if you happen to have any leftover.
NZQ, your BH quilt is amazing! I just love all the scrappy colors. Yours is BY FAR the most awesome one I have seen.
I went back and bought that book at JoAnn's, after seeing the dr. today. It's called Quilt Block Genius, second edition with 300 blocks. I already had about 200 of them in my Around the Block books, but I'm glad to get the other 100. Some of those are modern blocks.
Stay warm! It's turned really chilly here today.

NZ- that's a great BH top! I had to laugh though.... I made one and my husband said the SAME THING AS YOURS LOLOLOL.
Sewbiz- I didn't know they liked sweet potatoes. He/she is so darn cute. He can jump from a tree outside my room and get right to the nest. Glad you got results and can recover from this.
Mariposa's fabric is so gorgeous! I need to stop watching my squirrel and get going making blocks.

SewBiz - snip snip- oh if it were so easy to snip a few other areas! Glad it be great in the end.
NZ - how can anything be more busy than your household!! That is your life and it displays it perfectly.. I love scrappy.
Michelle Quilts - you make me laugh. I also go in drawer looking for just that one piece and next thing I know its memory lane!
Here are your two blocks. I took your suggestion and made a spider web. Half way through I didn't like it - but afterwards I loved the bats eyes looking out. And I used a churn dash to show off your little monsters. Hope it will play with your quilt.

Back to working on a Boom UFO. Got final sashing on and now building blocks to extend the length. The request was 70 by 90. I should have just made more blocks which would have been easier.
No Stars blocks yet. Keeping busy in the mean time. Got a request from my granddaughter for a quilt for her friend, 21 year olds, going through cancer treatments and needs a warm snuggle. Boom UFO will go back to the UFO pile tomorrow while I create a cancer quilt.
Loving all of the blocks and my second star. Yay!

Haven't we all gone through the stash and reminisced and said what did I use this one for? lol
TG, love your blocks for Michelle-quilts. The Spider webby one, what is the name of that and where did you find it? It turned out beautifully!
WMUT, how could anyone turn down the request of a quilt for a beloved friend of the requester? I hope you'll share it with us when you are done.
SBG, hope the surgery fixes the problem. My last pt was useless to help with my knee. Total waste of time and money but the insurance co wouldn't pay for a darn mri without pt first. I'm glad you are getting your surgery soon!
Cheese, beautiful blocks yet again!
Sitting in front of the fireplace at the cabin and it's the first time my feet have been toasty all day. Kind of chilly in these parts and only going to get colder. Brrr. Stay toasty, Stars!
