    I have a Tiara II sit down machine with a 16" throat and manually have to move the quilt.

    I generally use Best Press when I am done and press the whole quilt, but it doesn't seem to matter re: the washing out of the markers. Only once have I had to wash it twice, but I have never had an issue with them remaining.
