Michelle Quilts your Ohio Star for Janice is lovely
Cheesehead great blocks bit loveee the one for GramE, I am such a purple girl
Sewbiz glad you don’t have to run to therapy sessions. Hope the exercises help the numbness quickly
HAV just be super careful you don’t skip on water and ice. The boot doesn’t have much traction
Today is one of those non stop running days

Hav - you are knocking them out with a boot - you go girl - I especially love the one you made for Mariposa. Awesome - I believe I just may have that pattern - somewhere!
GramE - you made me giggle - Start with one block - try another half way through and end up with a whole new block. I think we could make up a pattern book with all our attempted blocks
Terriamn - you are the winner today - I noticed I never posted your nursery blocks and then just made your floral blocks. I found the perfect background green from your floral and than since I had two bags I combined both of your fabrics with mine. I love how they turned out Hope it works.

NZ, with satin you need to finish all edges as it ravels pretty bad. Also, most satin is not washable (unless it's polyester). It usually has to be dry cleaned. When you press it, always use a pressing cloth and much lower heat setting. And press from the wrong side of the fabric.
I'd use an 80 (12) needle and #2 stitch length.
I used to be a costumer for the ballet! Your dress plans sound wonderful.

I'm sorry to hear of your broken foot, Hav! I yelped and used colorful French when I broke my tailbone, I can't imagine a broken foot!
All of your blocks are beautiful, ladies! You are all incredibly talented! I have two more made up today. Another "Whoopsy Daisy" for Hav's pretty daisy fabric, and "Star Light, Star Bright" for GramE, both patterns from Quiltmaker's 1,000 Block book. I hope you like them!

I've finally gotten to sewing blocks. I've got all my fabric picked from my FQ stash, and I've got several block patterns picked out. I've been playing around with templates right now. Kind of fun - when you are only making a few blocks. Makes me think of how it was for my Mom when there was no rotary cutting. Lot of tracing templates and cutting with scissors. Makes me love my rotary cutter! I don't know if I'd be quilting if I had to cut the old fashioned way.
The first on is for WMUTeach . The second is for Mariposa.

Stunning blocks for SBG
OOOOO, It's Halloween time. These blocks are fantastic. Thank you for mine. They are perfect.
Great block for Michelle.
Bless your heart. I think we all need to be wrapped in Bubble wrap. Get better soon, Hav4boys.
We can always look at it as having a "one of a kind GramE block". It's beautiful.
Great block for Mariposa.
These blocks are fantastic too
