Interesting question with all the gadgets out there! I vote for 6x24", 4x8", Tucker trimmer since I do a lot of scrap quilts. Do I have others? Yes, Do I use them? Yes, but not as often as the first three.

For longer cuts : 6.5" X 24"
Most other cuts: 2" X 18" with the knob on top and 1/8" increments marked.
I do have a 4 foot metal ruler for the stained glass area of the workroom that has come in handy for fabric!
I do appreciate a non-skid back.

I have a lot of rulers, I like having squares for all sizes and such. Also have a lot of template shapes, but I do not have a lot of "specialty" rulers. If it needs a book or an instruction sheet to remember how to use, it's not for me.
Mostly I do cut large and trim down techniques -- I don't need a lot of junky tiny marks clogging up my available vision. My current go-to ruler is a 6.5x24" EZ Rule. Smaller cuts and I use a broken piece of a 6x24" Omnigrid that is about 6". When I am trimming subunits, I find that my hand cramps using the tiny 3.5ish" squares and such so mostly use a 6" square.

I was laughing too -- in case it wasn't clear mostly I use a 6.5 x 24 ruler and a broken piece of one that is roughly 6" square.
But yesterday I was going through some of the stuff I got when I bought my (used) longarm, she included sooo much extra stuff including rulerwork quilting rulers, as well as dozens of other rulers from the tiny to the larger.
One is a Trudie Hughes ruler, back in the day of starting to learn to cut with rulers I loved her "template free" books. I only brought a few books with me on the move, but I included hers for the cutting directions...

My 6 x 24" ruler and 6 1/2" square ruler are pretty much always on my cutting table. The 12 1/2" square makes it there when 6 1/2 isn't enough.
But - I have a variety of other rulers that are used fairly regularly depending on pattern. I'm kind of a ruler geek and love specialty rulers but they are pattern specific, not general use.
