Yay on you finding your rhythm Janice, hope this means you are feeling better. Can’t wait to see your quilt

Sun is shining and so far not much of a wind. Gees you talk about the Kansas winds it just seems to get windier here every day. Then because we are in such a draught there is sand and dirt in the air. Probably not the most healthy air to be breathing.

i am hoping to finish up my blocks this weekend

Anna, those blocks are very nice!

I've been putting tops together and have a pile waiting to be quilted. I've not gotten my LA fully set up since the move, and DH is going to give it a full service before I start to use it. Last winter when we were half moved, I finally got all but one small floppy quilted. Felt good to be that caught up. I think I've got 14 or 15 tops ready, but several are on the smaller size (50x60) so it's not to bad. With the LA and doing all over robotic quilting, it's easy to get them done in one day. I sew my bindings by machine so they only take about an hour to do. Down here, that will be good for when it's too hot to be outside during the day. Just a change, as I'm use to doing stuff in the winter when it's too cold to be outside during the day!

Good morning. The winds aren’t as fierce but they ushered in some chilly temps. Oh, well, it’s clear and bright so that’s a plus.

My Giant Scrappy Swoon is made from 2-1/2 inch squares. The quilting is done but I see a lot of mistakes but, again, it’s done!!! I’m more than satisfied despite my small seam allowances that are going to have me chopping off a lot of points. This was a QAL on the QB in 2018 I think. Jclinganrey ran it and did a nice job. Anyone can still look at her periodic clues and make one yourself. Some people used larger squares. Now to come up with the binding. I won’t have time for that before Monday but I hope I’ll be at the machine soon.

Have a nice day, Stars!

Love your applique, Anna!

I'm hoping I get sewing time this afternoon, but my first priority is encouraging the girls to clean their room. I promised them a library trip and a treat if they do. The mess is so deep I was tripping with every step. I think they are going to need me to help keep their motivation, lol!

Here is one for TG. Since it's for a child, I went with the gray background. Hope you like it.

I did a control burn of my garden patch last week (or was it two weeks ago now?!) and this morning I covered it with plastic to solarize the weeds and kill them off. Even after burning the ground, the weeds sprung up overnight! I guess that means I have really rich soil, lol!
Beautiful block for SBG

NZ, great blocks. I love the turkey trot block.

Gorgeous Janice! I LOVE yellow and blue together.

Pretty day here...sunny and bright... but I'm stuck in the office for a bit getting some things done and then I need to do some housework later. I'm expecting company tomorrow so definitely need to tidy up.... LOL

Maybe I'll get to sew this weekend....

Love the Swoon block with 2.5" squares. How did it happen that I missed that? I am going to try and find it and post that thread in the Birthday Swap Thread. Happy finish or nearly finish.

WMUTeach, here’s the Giant Scrappy Swoon QAL. It’s from 2015 not 2018! Good heavens I feel even better now that it’s done! Lol
