WMUT love your cleopatra fan!
Macbaby Clifford turned out darling and I agree fantastic border!
Janice oh my goodness on the bear. That is one thing I don’t care to get close and personal with. A very lost bear wonders through town maybe once every couple of years and that is to much for me. You are brave.
Finally felt well enough and energetic enough to sew and no power cord. Not very happy with myself. Ordered a new one as my sister also left Texas!
Sewbiz sorry on your hand hopefully it is just taking it’s sweet time healing just right

Yikes, a bear? Where did that come from? I had to go back a read the post that I missed this morning. Bet he or she was surprised when the moving ground gave way to.... splash, a dunking in an unexpected pond.
Good list of returned blocks, everyone. It won't be long and we will be stitching away on "Stars" quilts.
NZ, so sorry you are not getting quicker results, but bodies some time defy our desires and doctor's interventions. Hang in there. I hope the doc can give you some good news and encouragement tomorrow.

Another for SBG. I hope this works in your quilt,
I’m getting there. I’m mostly happy with what I’ve done but in some I would maybe not pick the same block if I got a do over. This is one of the hardest things to do, well for me anyway, is sewing for others. Choices are hard for me on my own sewing, so adding the tension of selecting a block for others gives me pause for thought.
I moved my presser foot to the opposite side of my body as I’m sitting down. Trying to train myself to not let my foot rest on the pedal, which I do constantly. But I think it might have worked after two days. This evening I caught myself only a couple of times when my foot took off sewing on its own. 😬
SewBizGirl, maybe going to church on Easter is the price they have to pay to get dinner? I do hope they heard a good message! We had not quite double, but we are a small country church and the visitors were mostly extended family of regulars. We average about 40-50 on a Sunday.

GramE thank you for the absolutely stunning block. It is gorgeous. Your block for Sewbiz is also beautiful!
This is my fun day, going to town for pedi and manicure, they have so many beautiful shades of colors it’s hard to pick from one. Then off to get my anti nausea patches and a few snacks followed by visiting the post office to put a hold on our mail. Lots of running but at a casual pace.
Overcast with another chance of rain later, last night we even had a glorious old fashion thunderstorm. The grass and trees are just sucking in all the long needed moisture.

I generally do diagonal quilting on most of my 2.5 inch squares quilts but this one was so big (66X80) that wrestling it under under the needle was too much for me. I just did straight line stitching and called it good enough. But for those of you who may some time take on a checkerboard quilt, the diagonal quilting does make the little squares appear to be square-in-a-square with minimal effort. It is particularly good for baby/toddler sized quilts....quick and fool-proof.
Hitting the hay early tonight feeling crummy and have the good old yearly physical tomorrow. Hope the doc can tell me what is going on. Dizzy or more like tipsy, feeling like a slug, cold and I want to nap about three hours after I get up. Time to take the snooze I wanted about 10:00 this morning.
ZuZu and I wish you all a good-night.
