Well this has become a tradition for me...... My favorite May 4th photo, Darth Cat. The second one is of my grandtwins dressed as Luke and Leia for Halloween. Their father was Darth and at 6'6" he was quite an imposing trick-or-treater. The next year they dressed the same but added little brother as an Ewok. Can't find that photo but it will show up some day when I least expect it.
Enjoy your May 4th aka Star Wars Day any way you wish.

Boomers, you are all welcome. I enjoy this swap a great deal and hope to run it for the foreseeable future. You all are the reasons why it works so well with your great efforts to make blocks both you and your partners will love. And the way you often share aspects from your lives, makes the group more cohesive. Thank you!
Terriamn, I’m so sorry you’ve been having motion sickness. I hope you get your sea legs soon.
The grands were here for much of the day. It’s such a pleasure to have them around now that they are so well behaved while feeling completely comfortable here. They’ve got more rules here and they walk in and are just so wonderful.
Attached below is my Bonnie Hunter “Bear Branch” just back from the LA. It was worth every cent to have it professionally quilted plus she trimmed it perfectly so all that’s needed now is a binding. I’m leaning towards scrappy turquoise but we’ll see. The quilting is swirls and dragonflies, kind of hard to see so it doesn’t overwhelm the top as it’s busy enough. Hope you like it.

My blocks arrived, all 19 in both sets. I am so excited, these blocks are so beautiful. Thank you all for making them for me.

After waiting for your fat eights for quite a while longer than most, I really did not expect the finished blocks to arrive so soon. I just checked and they are out for delivery! The fat eights got caught up in a "poor efficiency problem" in an Indianapolis distribution center. This was confirmed by my local post office personnel who said I was not alone and the post office administrators were ON this. This time around my package went to a different distribution center and Ta-Da, it is on its way to my mail box for delivery today. Yeah!

My package seems to be headed back south. Hopefully it will get its bearings and head north soon. WMUTeach has gotten her pkg before me. I’m using my time to straighten up my room. Much extra scraps. If anyone would like some scraps send me a pm.

my blocks arrived yesterday, opened them this morning and they are all lovely! Can't wait to get to adding them to my center.
There is rain in the forecast early next week so hope to get some sewing in then. Today I'm back to working with very different blocks - building a terrace in the front for a large planting bed. Bought two pallets of blocks so far (188) and will probably need another 50-60 to finish up. I'll wait on one end until our tractor arrives as there is a stump I want to get dug out. It's a bit more than 12" diameter, so hopefully we'll get most of it out.
I keep feeling like it's getting late to put plants in, but it's only early May and when living up north, I rarely planted anything before June 1st.

Waiting until chores are done before opening your package...
