Terriamn, I hope the rash resolves quickly. I guess you’ll be calling the doc for meds tomorrow. Be well.

Here’s a pic of Henri, the chorkie. I think he’s more Yorkie than chihuahua. He’s a sweetie! Laughing because Ernie is supposed to be half chihuahua and half Jack Russell. Maybe they’re related!

Let me tell you Teri, it's not easy walking into the farm store and asking where the animal delivery gloves would be. When I took the first one out of the bag it looked like it was 8 feet long, but it went on easy and it worked. No water on the cast. I told them at the farm store that the orthopedic surgeon told us to get them there.

Omgosh! I thought I was missing something and now it’s clear I was. I didn’t get the animal delivery glove reference. Thanks for clearing that up, GramE!

Terriamn, it is not a local quilt shop with the Accuquilt cutter but my local library. They have a large work space (The Makers Space) for folks to work on projects from quilting to printing to needle felting, to beads to knit/crochet, 3-D printing, large format digital printing and on and on. A clever way to bring folks into the library.

Henri is a cute little guy... looks like he has chihuahua bone structure in his head, and all the rest is yorkie.
My dog is a collie/lab mix, so what cute name would he have? Lollie? Colabrador? Ha ha.

The delivery gloves remind me of one time I wore one. We had a pregnant mare and took her to be checked out at the vet. I've always been very hands-on with my animals, so he let me put on the glove and stick my arm waaay inside the mare to feel the foal. I remember him telling me to just feel with my whole hand, like bouncing a basket ball. It was the coolest thing ever and I got to "pet" my baby Mocha before he was born!

My other blocks. I am loving the teal/terracotta combinations and can't wait to see what you have in your stash to match. And the start I believe I can do both sections with a F8 with careful cutting.

Love the little pup - of course there aren't too many dogs I do not like.

Gorgeous gorgeous blocks TG

Hubby lived with his sister for 3 summers while he was in college and working in their town. His brother in law was a large animal vet and he has told me stories on the long gloves, delivering colts and winching calves out. So we could relate

Henri is a cutie. Sure looks like a yorkie in the face.

WMUT a library, that is fantastic.

Quilted away on the Winnie quilt, talk about a slow process. Next time I need to spend a little more time analyzing how I want it quilted instead of just jumping in there with a small idea in mind

It has been dark and dismal all day but the big storms never showed up here. Now they are saying maybe tonight.

Hope you all are having a good weekend!
I love your fabric SusieQ! It’s so pretty! I have some cute prints that same style (button roses) so I can’t wait to get it.
