    Default Brooklyn’s quilt

If you know us you know we are very supportive of adoption. This quilt was for a girl who was born into tough circumstances. By a lot of prayer and favor she ended up being adopted by a friend’s daughter and SIL. I was binding this quilt 30 minutes before the celebration, and forgot to take pics before we folded it and put it in the bag. Grandma (pictured) promised to take pictures for me later. She’s a professional photographer so I’m pretty confident I can update this thread at some point with proper pictures of the quilt. The pattern is from a Missouri Star YouTube tutorial called Dizzy Daisy. Quilting pattern is from www.urbanelementz.com and is named something besides daisy.

As an adoption mom myself, two boys 3 and 6, I have a special, place in my heart for adoptive families. What a pretty quilt to welcome the child into her new family.

Such a sweet story and beautiful quilt. There is nothing like the cuddle of a warm quilt and a loving forever family.

I made that pattern once; I thought it would be pretty simple, and it was, but seemed to take longer than I thought it would. You did a great job on it.
