I usually have coffee in the morning, caf or decaf, doesn't matter. I don't notice the effect, except if I have it too late in the day. I make homemade iced tea and drink that later in the day. No sugar in either, cream in the coffee.

I like a cup of coffee in the a.m. with milk or cream no sugar. Rarely do I ever have a second cup during the day. I am bad on "hydration" since I don't like water even if it tastes good and ice water is the worst even with lemon, etc. Just gags me. but I can drink weak tea so a tea bag might last me all day with refilling my cup. We have one of those Insinkerator hot water heaters under the sink with a handle on top so we have instant hot water and both of us use it throughout the day. I like my tea with no sugar or lemon. Iced tea is too cold for me even in summer.

It's tea for me all the way! Can't stomach coffee, although I like the smell. My favorite is loose leaf English breakfast tea from Vahdam, which I buy on Amazon. I also enjoy other black teas like chai and Earl Grey. Not a fan of green or herbal teas, although I keep them on hand for visitors.

Caffeinated coffee for me to wake up, but just one cup. More coffee, either kind, doesn't agree with me. After that, I drink herbal iced tea (decaf) and water most days. Sometimes lately, I have a decaf cup of chai tea in the afternoon.

2 cups black coffee with pure stevia in the am (occasional cup mid to late morning). After lunch, herbal tea from Celestial Seasonings. Fireside Vanilla spice. Yum.

My auntie said, "You don't really like coffee, do you?" Before breakfast, I drink a cup of coffee with Splenda, cocoa, and Hazelnut creamer. I recently discovered Dr. Pepper Zero. I limit myself to one or two per day. Otherwise, water from Culligan system. I'm from Texas, where we serve Sweet Tea. My favorite hot tea is Constant Comment, which is orange spiced. Interesting thread!

Coffee. Mmm coffee! Probably too much coffee, but mmm coffee! :-)

I will drink black (usually orange pekoe) tea if there's nothing else or to be polite, and I do like some herbal teas (peppermint, ginger, chamomile).

Coffee with 1/2 and 1/2, no sugar or sweetener. I only drink it first thing in the morning. I rarely drink hot tea. I do drink ice tea, no lemon, no sugar or sweetener.

I don't care for tea bag tea. I cut too many open to find twigs and stems, I guess why it's called natural. LOL I use loose leaf tea that has only tea leaves. It tastes so much better no matter what brand.

I try to avoid coffee or black or green tea.

I dislike the smell of coffee.

It gets awkward when everyone else is drinking coffee or alcoholic beverages.
