Envelopes received today from:Janice Mc C
    JulieG
    TravellingGramma

and two others with no board name on the envelope:

Mystery envelope #1 is a pink envelope with a frog sticker on the front and the back.
Mystery envelope # 2 has hand-drawn "stitching" around the perimeter of the front a brown craft envelope

I was tempted to open my mystery envelopes, but I'm trying to be good and wait for my birthday!

Pinkflowers, my guess is that #1 is from Crispy_Frog and #2 is from me for sure. Guess I forgot my the screen name when I added the sticker with my return address. Time to recheck the other envelopes ASAP.

    Thanks for the updates.

Here is another version of the quilt I posted on Monday. The first was the inspiration and this is pattern sheet I am using for my January/February 2.5" quilt effort. I like the directions for this version. https://quiltingwithlori.com/wp-cont...appy-Quilt.pdf I printed this one and tucked it with my strips and squares.

Hi all. My envelopes went into the mail on Jan 2 from Corpus Christi. The mail lady told me that they had to be hand sorted because the envelope was too floppy. She kept checking the thickness but that was not the issue. I used regular paper to make a card. Next month I am going back to card stock for a firmer package. I sure hope my items get to you by your birthdays!! When I am back from my travels I will be visiting more.

    Jenn -- I'm glad you're warm again!!

January birthday candies are in the mail. January 9th birthday envelope will likely be a few days late. Sorry about that. Happy birthday!

Surprised how quickly my envelope got from WA to FL, echoing Pam's similar comment. WMUT, I knew Wesing's info was for posting from an iPad (which I do have) but I was trying to follow the directions about posting from a computer that were in the QB help section. It wasn't intuitive; or maybe I was just not clever enough. I would love it if you could send me some directions.

Pamelor, I have on my check list that you also got an envelope from Janice McC, mentioned in post #102. I think that would make 9 plus one mystery envelope. It will all figure itself out in just a couple of days! The anticipation builds. Tomorrow is your day!!

I agree that getting these envelops does stir up excitement as we creep closer and closer to our birthday. It proves two things: little things please us and we are still little kiddos at heart waiting for our celebration day.

Have a wonderful day every one. In the Mitten is is scheduled to be sunny for a couple of hours. This is like a major reprieve for us along the lake effected rim of the state. We have had less than 8 hours of sunshine since the new year began. I am humming "Here Comes the Sun" at least for the morning. This afternoon it is back to our normal clouds and some sort of participation. Not complaining mind you. All of these clouds give use glorious growing seasons for vineyards, orchards and forests. Can't imagine a better place to reside..
