Yesterday, Saturday, made another 50 of my utility blocks with the 4-patch center. Time this afternoon for more! Shooting for 200 total blocks. We shall see!

i came home from my other guild's sew day, with 2 more donation tops to longarm. This member is a wonderful piecer and always provides backing and batting with her donations--such a money and time saver for me. So! 4 donations and 2 smallish commissions to quilt this week, plus 25 more Lemoyne stars needed for my current project. And the DH just informed me that we need to clear the walkways and driveway. He does the snow blowing and I shovel the walks.

I have a new panto that I think will look lovely on one of the commissioned quilts. I think I'll load a donation top and try it out this afternoon--after the shoveling!

My dream of finishing the second 100 blocks his weekend is fading fast. 170 finished with another 60 prepped for stitching in the next couple of days. Here is a mock up of what the quilt top will look like. The yellow block finishes at 4". Just using up scraps of white-on-white and what ever is in my bin for the four-patches. Started last spring and getting back to making progress.

You are all being so purposeful with finishes and progress Yea! See many of you again next month during Valentine's Day weekend.

    Projects are looking nice!!!

Not that much sewing but a lot of sorting and putting away where it now belongs. Also a few I can let it go's.
I did get the second donation quilt done this afternoon. I'm taking a quick break to check for pictures, Loved them all! and some dinner. Then tonight will be just a little more organizing and reading. I need to finish a book before it's due at the library. Happy sewing, and stay warm!!

    Thimblebug6000– thank you!

I went to quilt shop in plant city Florida today and bought a few patterns. And I’ve been working on my wool appliqué project. I see so many of you been very busy!

I’ll see you all next month.

Since my Mitten State was under weather warnings, snow and wind, I did not leave home and snuggled up in my sewing room with a cup of tea and a sharp rotary cutter. I now have 200 blocks finished and 30 cut and ready for stormy Tuesday. Creeping slowing toward my goal. Many schools closed tomorrow, so more stitching is in my future.

Thank you Heather for the VQW. My SIL's quilt is pressed, and folded with the backing ready to mail tomorrow. I did a trial paper piece of the QOM that Patrice is reviving not quite happy with how it turned out. I think I will make a second one. I will post pictures tomorrow no time tonight. DH is packing for a work trip.
