Here are my two blocks. I tried the 6 inch PP block in pink and the 8 inch with HST's. Since these blocks I plan to make with my stash, I'm happy with the 8 inch square but really need to not use regular printer paper for my piecing.

I made 3 blocks and this is what I made with them. The oval one is a pad for the bottom of my daughters basket that she uses to go shopping, One is a place mat for the table, the other is a bag to hang behind the seat in my car.

I realized why my two blocks look different. When I marked the paper with the color placement, since Generations didn't label the blocks well. I marked them looking at the sewing side, and PP is 180 out. Not a big deal, I will use it anyways in the scrappy top I am planing.
