This is one of my favorite quilts, ever! It’s going to my GD Millie for her 7th birthday.
Such a cute quilt, Millie is going to love it.

SBG, love the Party Animals quilt. Glad you got the bobbin and tension problems figured out.

Ernie had his exam yesterday and we’re just waiting for the blood test results. Had some X-rays. They showed a slightly enlarged heart but without several more tests, they cannot definitively state why it’s enlarged. The rest of his chest and abdomen look perfect for 14-1/2 years old. He eats, drinks, walks and sleeps like a trooper. Unless something negative comes back on the blood tests, he’s set for at least another 6 months to a year.

Still haven’t finished my OD quilt top. Been distracted by reading these last few days. Need to get on it!

Have a good rest of your day!
Glad to hear Ernie is doing good, praying the blood work comes back great.

I love scrappy quilts as I have lots of scraps. Great quilt, sad that it has to go in the UFO pile.

Thank you for the book recommendations. I love to hear about new authors and books to read.

Beautiful top, Janice. I love how it looks like a field of pinwheels from far away.

Lstew, darling sweater! I love a top-down raglan.

Spent today binding the Walkabout lap quilt. Then I started cutting out 3 dozen Quilt of Valor blocks for next Tuesday. We are having a “Sit and Sew” that day, making QOV blocks. Just got finished!

Love your finished OD, another great pattern for scraps

My top from this last boom is also complete, will try and take a picture. The latest apple update messed with my process of cropping so it might be interesting.

WMUTeach, forgot to mention I tried to find Tallgrass in my library but not a copy to be had in the whole system. Then I tried Libby and voila, there it was. I’m 35 minutes into it and like it very much. Thanks for turning me on to Tallgrass.

How fun that you found another set of quilters in the Quilling class, TG. More people to share with.

Shhhhh, Did everyone know that someone had a birthday yesterday? She lives in North Carolina leads a group quilt blocks swappers and has a very special dog.

Hope your day was filled with just what you wished and then some surprises too, Janice McC.
