You are all incredibly attentive swappers! I just checked again and we have more than half of the little birthday packages wandering about in the mail already. And it is only March 23!! You are a marvelous team of swappers. Thank you.

I am headed out of state tomorrow, so I will kick off 2.5 day early this month. I finished the old candy UFO from many moons ago. not my favorite of quilts, but happy it is completed. 88" square, quilted with a wavy diagonal

Oh, my goodness that is a lot of 2.5s. I stopped calculating how my when I hit more than 1000 and they began swimming around in my head..
LAF, do you now how many you used? What a start of for the March 2.5 day. Looking for more pictures tomorrow.
Remember your "show and tell" does not need to be finished. Just a show of progress or even a solid "tell" of what you would like too do with your stash of 2.5's. See y'all tomorrow.

LAF, I like it! I'm not finished with my latest candy project but I'll post what I have. I'm not sure how big it'll be, but not huge because although I have boxes of candies at this point, i don't have so much wall space. The other pictures are what I've been struggling with since January, the pattern is "two left feet" by Boo Davis. I told you all I was sick of it but would try quilting it anyway. It's very close to done, just a few spots left to quilt, but I bound it anyway just to get it off my table and on to my couch. Never did get really good at quilting circles, but I tried my best! It did grow on me after all those hours working on it.

Wmu - I'm sure I could do the calculative math, but I don't have that level of energy.... I would estimate there are probably 1500 candies. only a few duplicates that I could locate. Most are from 1-2 years of candy swaps and whatever I cut from my stash. Look closely, you may find ones you recognize! (but you may be looking for quite a while!)

wow, Pamelor! That is dedication to your quilting, so many pebbles! I do not have such patience. I did "pebbles" in a border once but simply could not mentally accept the idea of doing pebbles, too daunting. so I had to do it as a loopy meander but without the meander. it was my mental trick to feel confident to quilt it and to tolerate it as well!

I am making progress on my 16-Patch Delight from QuiltingWithLori.com. This is about 1/4 of the quilt. I need to make about1/4 more of the miscellaneous blocks to make this LARGE quilt. (Too large for my quilt wall for sure. Oh, well.
)
Today is stitch this amount together then repeat times three over the course of the next month.

Well, here’s a first. My envelope was brought back to me bc I failed to put the postage on it. My carrier caught it apparently. Sooo. I’ll try again tomorrow. Will let you know when it’s picked up. Sheesh!
