Looks like a Coton de Tulear to me. My friend has one. Don't trim it too much, just around the eyes. They do require some brushing to keep from matting.

I have a Wheaten Terrier, doesn't look like the right color. The head looks like Old English Sheepdog, have had two of them, great dogs. There is some kind of Polish sheepdog that is the color of this one.

Looks like bichon/poodle mix to me. We got a black poodle mix at the shelter when she was 6 mo. old and weighed 14 lbs. As an very fit adult, she weighs 23 lbs. The highlight of our days!
