I am waiting to hear if Max has been adopted yet and if not will pull him from the shelter for ME. (rescuers can pull from our high kill shelter animals we think we can adopt out) I am curious however.. what breed do you think he might be? They think Maltese and Poodle.. he is 6 months and 25 lbs (they think six months by the teeth)..
So breed? and how big do you think if you were to guess he will grow to?
First thing I am dying to do is give the poor pooch a pruning! he has a bit way too much hair. maybe a teddy bear cut? oh I am so excited.. cross your fingers.. I think I could love this one.

Teddy Bear cut will be perfect. He sure looks like he has poodle in him! Probably no more than 35 pounds. Medium size. He is adorable, hope you get him.

wow, he is so clean, usually the eyes get brown marks on the fur. I bet your vet will be able to tell you what kind he is and his age. Praying you get him, wishing you both a long and happy life! Lace

I would say a poodle mix. Poodles have small heads I wonder how tall he is?

25 lbs is pretty heavy already for a Miniature poodle mix...especially mixed with a smaller dog like a Maltese! Max is ADORABLE!! If he's already six months, he will probably, depending on his height, only gain another 5 lbs or less.
He looks Shi-Poo to me...Shih Tzu/Poodle mix. I think it's also more likely, considering his size.
I can't wait to see a photo after you've had him clipped! :)
