LUCKY LUCY IS HAVING BABIES!!!!! So far four in the last hour and a half.. ahhh and she chose under my couch to do this. I have a room, her own closet, blankets you name it no one to bother them and she is under the livingroom couch. I hope she moves them after she is all done I dont want anyone to wiggle out and get stepped on! Two orange babies and two mystery white and something babies (kinda messy this moment hard to say). Maybe she will calm down now. Cross your fingers she doesnt have 10! (third litter and she is only 1.5) I have already set up some spay dates but think I may need more than 5 at this point. Time to win the lottery. This is going to be expensive!

Oh my she is pretty. Sounds like she will be a good mom too. I had to laugh at LeslieSkelly above. We have rescued a cat in the last year and we named her Lola. Her big brother we saved from certain death from being born under our shed two Septembers ago and had to bottle feed him from about the same age (Boots aka Evil). And the top of the cake is I am allergic to them both too.

How pretty she is! Reminds me of the last cat my youngest brought home. She was covered with fleas so of course we named her Fleasha. She was a Calico also.

Lucy has had 8 kittens so far and I am PRAYING she is done I seriously question if she can feed that many as it is. So today I will monitor her to make sure very is getting a chance to belly up to the bar. I was able to grab and dash with her babies as she was just finishing birthing number8, she followed and now they are safely ensconsed in a quiet, warm dry spot. Its been 5 hours since she started having them so I hope she is done now and can get some rest (oh sure rest 8 babies and she can rest roll your eyes at me.. heck I am tired and I only watched).

WOW--8-- she must be totally exhausted!!
You need to get your rest, too, in case Lucy needs you later!
And don't forget pictures--when it is safe and when Lucy will not be bothered!

She is beautiful. A very blessed little kitty to find a good home. My dog who is now 13 was a shelter dog. He was 8 when I adoped him. He has given us so much joy and we have given him the life he deserves.
