Cathedral Windows....plus

Have a look in tutorials. Eddie has a tutorial identical to miy method except he uses machine and mine is hand done for no other reason than I am not good on the machine. Am getting better. He has done a wonderful job. ann clare

I have always loved Cathedral Window quilts and decided I should try one... I looked at everything I could find for instructions. I chose the method of sewing 2 ends together , opening that up matching seams and sewing that, leaving an opening to turn ( does that make sense)... anyway... now I am having trouble getting my points pretty... seems 2 are good and two are too bulky... I did open my seams and press them.. Any suggestions for perfect points. I am also hand sewing. Any enlightenment would be appreciated.... ( oh, I used muslin, and I am thinking maybe it is just too course to turn into nice points) Quilter 1234

Your Cathedral Windows Quilt is so beautiful. You gave me the inspiration, I went to the website for the pattern and have started learning the pattern. I never, ever, thought I would be able to create something so beautiful. I am using .50cent a yard material to learn on and it is turning into a work of art with each window I add. I won't post again until it is finished but I couldn't wait to share my excitement with you.
